Welcome to my last blog. I you have been paying attention you know I have been interning at Seychelles Bureau of Standards (SBS). As you know my journey was to visit three exquisite places. Behind door number one was the microbiology lab where the battle against bacteria was intense. Behind door number two we were preventing man Slater by metals in fish. As I walk through door number three little that I know of the foe I was about to face. It name, Histamine. Histamine is a toxic compound found in the living thing such as fish. My time was spent analysing histamine in fish production, raw tuna and fish oil with the most futuristic technology. To conclude it is very clear that the lab has a large part to play in the blue economy.
