What can I say? My two weeks went by really fast, I’m going to miss working there but I’m not going to miss waking up at 05 30 every morning. These two weeks at SPA taught me a lot especially how people manage to wake up early every day with a bright smile to come to work. However, I’ve really enjoyed my days at the SPA learning new things and meeting new people. It was so exciting. I really did learn a lot. Who knew that the Seychellois public would not get any of the commodities that we enjoy because it has to go through the workers at SPA. There, the workers make sure that the cargos are not damage, there should be as many as it’s said in the files, checking that every number on the container is right and in order. To also take the containers out from the ship it’s not as easy as it looks because you have to make sure that when you put the containers down, you do not put drop it abruptly but lightly, also to put it in an orderly place so that the trucks won’t have a hard time collecting it. These types of jobs demand a lot of patience especially when you are unloading the vessels and checking the containers because once you run out of patience if will affect your job performance! If you love your job anything is possible. THANK YOU SPA FOR TEACHING ME THAT
